Welcome to Kubed Root!
We are Buffalo’s all-inclusive indoor co-farming space. We provide month-to-month indoor greenhouse space. Just show up ready to grow!
Our space is indoors in a reconverted warehouse that's climate controlled, enabling you to grow year round - even through the coldest winters.
Our space can adapt to your needs and grow with you as your operation grows. Perfect for if you're just starting out, or if you're a seasoned green thumb.
Interested in growing your own flowers, microgreens, or vegetables? Want to join a community of urban farmers? Join one of our events or workshops.
We are a Farm Space as a Service Company (FSpaaS) making indoor co-farming poossible. We are a team of green thumbs and have been growing everything from microgreens to mushrooms for the past 10 years. Living in Buffalo, New York, a majority of the year can be pretty cold, making it hard to keep growing outdoors.
We started Kubed Root to enable our community to keep growing year-round. Our new Elmwood Village location is expansive and open with natural light and great vibes to keep you and your plants thriving.
With Kubed Root, each farmer gets their own 6ft x 8ft individual greenhouse, or Kube, with LED grow lighting, planting shelves, and a lock.
We help provide all the essentials you need to start growing from your first day at Kubed Root.
Membership also includes the following:
Each member's Kube comes with everything you need to get started growing. LED grow lights provide your plants with adequate light, along with water and soil.
Whether you're a beginner or a more experienced grower, we're happy to answer any questions and help you on your journey any way we can.
Setting up an online store to sell your microgreens? Bring your laptop and get work done in our coworking space. Fully equipped with Wi-Fi and outlets.
Need a break from the greenhouse? Chill out in the lounge and hang out with fellow urban farmers.
